Today at Amsterdam International Water Week, Securing Water for Food officially announced our Third Call for Innovations awardees.

Chosen from over 400 proposals, 12 innovations were selected as the top post-pilot, water-for-food solutions. Innovations were selected based on a set of rigorous criteria, prioritizing hard data and evidence ensuring these solutions have the highest chance at success. See the full list of winners here!

The latest cohort of Innovators were welcomed by high-level representatives from the U.S. Agency for International Development, the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands , and the Government of South Africa during our well-attended "Pitch & Picture" session. Participants heard from 10 Securing Water for Food innovators as they presented their best three-minute pitch to an engaged crowd.

In addition to announcing our latest round of awardees, we also welcomed the Government of South Africa as our newest founding partner.

Our time at AIWW isn't over yet. Innovators from the first three calls will spend the week work shopping their business models, practicing their pitches, and mingling with high-impact investors who can help them launch their solutions into new markets. Stay tuned! Read more
