The Institution is governed by a General Assembly consisting of members. The General Assembly is the supreme policy and decision-making organ of the organisation. Its roles is to approve policies of the institution; elect members of the Executive Committee, including chairpersons of the standing committees when elections are due; appoint an auditor of the institution; approve the consolidated plan for the subsequent one year; oversee the functioning of the Executive Committee and the operations of the institution; and perform any other function that is incidental to the realisation of the objectives of institution.
The Board of Directors
There is a Board of Directors consisting of seven members that oversees the execution of the organisation’s policies and action plans as decided by the General Assembly. The Board of Directors is assisted by the Secretariat.
The Secretariat is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the organisation and is headed by the Executive Director, who is assisted by a recruited staff. The Executive Director is the chief accounting officer of the organisations. He/she also performs the function of spokesperson of the organisation.
The Institute has the following staff positions; Executive Director, Head of Programs,Finance & Administration,Chief Accountant,ICT Office and Public Relations Officer, Project Officer and Other Support Staff.
